Джозеф Гершенсон (англ. Joseph E. Gershenson, также Josef и Joe Gershenson, Joseph G. Sanford, исходно Иосиф Гершензон; 12 января 1904, Кишинёв, Бессарабская губерния — 18 января 1988, Вудлэнд Хиллз, Лос-Анджелес, Калифорния) — американский дирижёр и композитор, деятель киноиндустрии США, продюсер и музыкальный директор кинокартин в Голливуде (Universal Pictures), дважды номинировавшийся на премию американской академии киноискусств «Оскар» (1955, 1967).

В 1917 году переехал с родителями в США. С 1920 года выступал дирижёром и руководителем театральных оркестров, сопровождавших немое кино. Работал в компании Universal Pictures, где с 1940 года и до выхода на пенсию в 1969 году был директором музыкального департамента. Был музыкальным директором практически всех картин киностудии между 1949 и 1969 годами. Как продюсер и режиссёр с 1940 по 1948 год выступал также под псевдонимом Джозеф Сэнфорд (Joseph G. Sanford). Был дирижёром и руководителем «The Universal International Orchestra», принимавшим участие как в записи саундтреков к картинам киностудии, так и в сольной деятельности и звукозаписи (оркестр, в частности, сопровождал Фрэнка Синатру и Сэмми Дэвиса-младшего).

Джозеф Гершенсон был номинирован на премию «Оскар» в 1955 году за кинокартину «История Глена Миллера» (англ. The Glenn Miller Story), с Джеймсом Стюартом в главной роли, и в 1967 году за музыкальную кинокартину «Весьма современная Милли» (англ. Thoroughly Modern Millie), с Джули Эндрюс в главной роли.

Автор музыки к к американской версии советского мультипликационного фильма «Снежная королева» (The Snow Queen, 1959, с Фрэнком Скиннером). Среди известных фильмов Дж. Гершенсона — «Спартак», «Папа Гусь» (англ. Father Goose), «Имитация жизни». Особенно плодотворно работал в жанре вестерна.
